Population-based register
Cancer registries are an indispensable tool for studying cancer pathology in a population. These registries provide data on epidemiological indicators in terms of incidence, prevalence, survival and other relevant indicators. The data collected by the registries allow for the analysis and dissemination of cancer data in order to assess the overall efficiency of the health care system. These same data are also used to support research through epidemiological studies, cohort studies, etc. ……
In Morocco, information on cancers comes from the Greater Casablanca region register and the Rabat city register.
